What a day, and Thank God its over!

We got our income taxes filed and paid on August 15, 2005 for both the state and the fed. Yay! I was so stressed about getting it filed and paid.

Our truck got its fuel pump replaced for only 50.00 from our mechanic after we paid quite a few bigger bucks to him for replacing the fuel pump a week or so prior. He had told me $150.00 for the replacement cost originally even after he had replaced the other fuel pump. I think his concience was bothering him.

Although my Grandma fell out of her bed trying to climb over the rails on her bed at the nursing home, her surgery went well and she is already on the mend. She must have been a bit confused because she did not call for help. She goes to the bathroom a lot at night. She will be 92 in September.

And all this in one day! Very stressful, but it all worked out! Although I got so stressed out I caught a nasty summer cold. But I keep taking my supplements and fighting back at it.
